Noom Advetute: Mid-Week Update

This is my first major milestone I’ve been working towards on my weight loss journey. With Noom, I reached this goal in a little over four weeks! Ya’ll, I have been trying to lose weight for over a year. I thought I was doing the “right” things, but really, I was perpetuating a negative relationship with food and body image. 

This last month, I have started changing the way I think about the food I consume. I’ve learned how to eat to stay satisfied all day eating every 2-3 hours as opposed to feeling hungry trying to skip eating and “diet.” I’ve unprocessed my meals, adding lots of whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins. I’ve kicked my pop habit that often led to feeling bloated and jittery (huge plus), and have fallen in love with sparkling water when I want that carbonated beverages fix. The craziest thing is…I haven’t eliminated anything from my life. I still enjoy my favorite treats like ice cream and chocolate, just in moderation :) I still enjoy bread and noodles and all the carbs, just the healthier whole grain alternative. 

I’m excited! I’m celebrating by finding some shorts that fit!
